MotoGP, Jerez

It was an exciting race to begin with. Wet weather makes it even harder to push the limit of the bike. Lots of crashes and lots of electronics malfunction. I was rooting for Rossi.

Rossi started off at 12th place and quickly caught up to 3rd place. From the look of it, he was gonna be on podium. Everything went wrong when he over took Stoner on the inside and just when Rossi was about the exit the corner, his rear tyre touched Stoner's front end and that's when both crashed out. Rossi was pinned under his bike. Both managed to continue with the race but soon Stoner had to retire due to a mechanical problem which was caused by the crash. Rossi was placed 15th. Lots more crashed out and Rossi final placing was 5th.

Aside from the Rossi battle, Marco Simoncelli had a good rhythm. He, too was climbing the position with a good paste. He was leading until he pushed to hard and crashed.

And so,

1st - Jorge Lorenzo ( M1 Yamaha)

2nd - Dani pedrosa (Repsol Honda)

3rd - Nicky Hayden (Desmo Ducati)

4th - Aoyama (San Carlo Honda Gresini)

5th - Valentino Rossi (Desmo Ducati)
